1. The Service

VisaLane provides a platform that helps users discover job opportunities, organize job searches, save jobs, track applications, import external job postings, create professional profiles, parse resumes, generate application documents, and prepare outreach messages.

The Service may include AI-assisted features, including resume parsing, job matching, tailored resume generation, cover letter drafting, and outreach message drafting.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and can form a binding agreement.

3. Accounts and Registration

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information if it changes.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

4. Free Features and Paid Subscriptions

We may offer promotional trials. If you activate a trial, you may receive access to paid features for the trial period. At the end of the trial, your access may automatically convert to a free plan unless a paid subscription is activated or continued according to the terms presented at checkout.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription through the Settings page or by contacting support, depending on the available functionality. If you cancel, cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by applicable law.

7. User Content

You may submit content to the Service, including resumes, profile details, job links, messages, feedback, and application materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Transmit malware or harmful code

9. Job Listings and External Postings

Job listings may be sourced from third parties, imported by users, generated for demonstration, or otherwise displayed through the Service. We do not guarantee that any job listing is accurate, complete, current, lawful, or suitable for you.

You are responsible for verifying job details, compensation, visa sponsorship claims, employer legitimacy, and application requirements before applying.

When you click through to an external job posting, employer website, LinkedIn profile, email client, or other third-party platform, your interaction is governed by that third party's terms and policies.

10. Imported Jobs

If you import a job from an external URL, you represent that you have the right to submit that link. We may display metadata related to the imported job, including the source domain. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or availability of imported external job postings.

11. AI Features

AI-generated outputs are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, immigration advice, employment guarantees, career advice, or professional advice of any kind.

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it in applications, communications, or professional settings.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated documents will be error-free, complete, or accepted by employers, recruiters, immigration authorities, or any other party.

12. Communications

By using the Service, you agree that we may send you service-related communications, including account notices, security alerts, product updates, and transactional messages. If you enable job alerts or notification channels, you may receive messages through selected channels where available. You may manage or disable alerts through the Service where supported.

13. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and implement that feedback without compensation or attribution.

14. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
